Coming soon is “10 Tips on How to Survive When Someone Dies” another in the booklets from Tiplets series.

When someone dies, the person who is left is usually in shock. Nothing really prepares you for these circumstances.

The design of these Tiplets will be a workbook style. You will be able to enter the personal details relevant to you in the spaces provided. When the time comes, all the person has to do is follow the steps in the workbook. A checklist will be included so the person can keep track of their progress.

It is common for you to forget or overlook small items like changing the contact name on a utility bill. This workbook will help to stop that from happening.

One of the most forgotten notifications is the Overseas Pension Provider if the deceased person was receiving this benefit. Funds usually deposited directly into a bank account can often be overlooked.

Older people may find terminating social media accounts a problem, especially if they are not usually exposed to these platforms. Transferring the name on Internet connections, etc., is often a minefield.

Joint Names

One of the ways to make life easier is before anyone dies is to change everything to joint names, especially bank accounts. This ensures the surviving person has access to funds.

The booklet will cover all of these items with simple explanations and steps to follow. You will be able to purchase this booklet as a PDF so you can print it, fill out the relevant sections and keep it in a safe place.

If you are not familiar with computers, ask a friend to help.

During 2020, I will be writing and publishing at least four booklets from Tiplets. All will be quick and easy to read with lots of usable information.
